Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) superfine sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups (475 ml) ginger ale
  • 4 lime slices
Preparation
  • Whisk together sugar, lime juice, and mint in a pitcher until sugar is dissolved.
  • Strain out mint, if desired.
  • To serve, add ginger ale to lime mixture and mix gently to combine.
  • Pour limeade over ice in glasses.
  • Garnish with lime slices.
Comments
4 servings, 192 calories (or less!). If your diabetic, or just watching empty carbs, you can try substituting Stevia or Splenda for the sugar (smaller amount, please!), and Canada Dry diet ginger ale.
