  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) grated almonds
  • 1 cup (225 ml) flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter, creamed
  • 1 cup (225 ml) powdered sugar
  • Combine almonds and flour.
  • Blend butter and powdered sugar.
  • Mix all.
  • Roll in a ball, roll to 1/4" thick.
  • Cut into bars.
  • Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 min. at 350 degrees (175 C.).
A special treat generally made at the holidays. From sister Peggy back in 1976.
