Serves/Makes:1 pie

Ingredients
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 6 cups (1425 ml) sliced apples
  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
  • 1 cup (225 ml) flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter or margarine
Preparation
  • Mix the apples with the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Pile in the pie shell.
  • Mix flour, brown sugar and butter.
  • Press this topping on top of the apples.
  • Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 35 to 40 minutes.
Comments
Try it with a slice of chedder cheese!
