  • 1 French loaf of bread
  • 4 tomatos
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) dried basil leaves
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
  • 2 cups (475 ml) grated mozarellla cheese
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Slice the french loaf in half, lengthwise.
  • Peel and seed the tomatos, then dice.
  • Mix the tomatoes with the garlic and seasonings.
  • Brush the bread with the oil.
  • Cover with tomato mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and broil in the oven until cheeses melt.
