Peppercorn Steak - Spicy Peppered Steaks

  • 6 sirloin steaks
  • 4 tsp (20 ml) whole peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) bottled steak sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
  • Crush peppercorns coarsely with a rolling pin.
  • Mix steak sauce, mustard, brown sugar and salt.
  • Marinate overnight or until ready to cook.
  • Grill as usual, using the marinade as a baste.
