Lemon Teriyaki Glazed Chicken

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) water
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp (4 ml) ginger
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • In skillet combine all ingedients except chicken.
  • Cook over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Add chicken, and simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes or till tender.
  • Serve with flavored rice side dish and vegetables.
  • Reserve cooking marnidade to pour over chicken, if anyone desires.
