Fresh Strawberries with Balsmic Vinegar

Serves/Makes:Serves 8

  • 3 pints strawberries, hulled
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) best-quality balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) sugar
  • In a small bowl,combine all of the ingredients.
  • Toss gently to help the sugar dissolve.
  • Cover and refrigerate, gently stirring occasionally, until well chilled, up to 2 hours.
