Steamed, spiced shrimp


Serves/Makes:4 servings

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) vinegar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml). Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). salt
  • 1 lb (.5 kg). fresh medium shrimp with shells
  • In large saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients; bring to a boil.
  • Add shrimp, stir gently.
  • Cover and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Drain, peel, and devein shrimp.
  • Serve with cocktail sauce.
