Print Friendly Recipe Recipe Information Description: meat loaf Source: Tess Serves/Makes:6 Ingredients 1-1/2 lbs (.7 kg). lean ground beef 1/2 cup (125 ml) dry bread crumbs 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 cup (125 ml) finely chopped onion 1/2 cup (125 ml) Heinz tomato ketchup 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt 1/8 tsp (1 ml) pepper Preparation Thoroughly combine all ingredients except ketchup. Form into a loaf and place in 8 inch x 4 inch shallow pan Bake in 350 degree (175 C.) oven for 45 minutes Spread top with ketchup. Bake 15 minutes longer.
