Easy Pecan Pie

Serves/Makes:1 pie

Ingredients
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1/4 teas. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup (225 ml) dark corn syrup (1/2 of a 16 oz (448 grm). jar)
  • 1 to 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) pecans
Preparation
  • Cream (just mix) butter and sugar gradually until fluffy.
  • Add syrup & salt.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly.
  • Stir in pecans or arrange on top after pie crust is filled.
  • Pour into pie crust.
  • Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Pie is done when knife comes out clean.
