Liver and Onions with a New Twist

  • 2 lbs (.9 kg). sliced beef liver
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) salad oil
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook liver until browned.
  • Stir in onions, add Ragu spaghetti sauce, 1 cup (225 ml) water and heat to boiling.
  • Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 minutes or until liver is tender.
I have served this with pasta.
