Serves/Makes:3-4 sandwiches

  • 8 oz (224 grm) creamed cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup (225 ml) "salad" olives - broken pieces of green olive & pimento
  • 4-8 slices whole wheat bread
  • Mash creamed cheese & butter until smooth.
  • Add olives & mix until well blended.
  • Spread on bread - we often had these open faced with crust removed.
This was my mother's favorite Bridge Club Luncheon. Considered a dainty sandwich.
