Serves/Makes:1 cake

  • 1 pkg angel food cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz (588 grm).) lemon pie filling
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) lemon extract
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Spray a 13 x 9 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Mix the dry cake mix with the pie filling and extracts.
  • Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Cool.
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Can be made with any flavor of pie filling. Cherry is a favorite, just omit the lemon extract.
