Serves/Makes:12 Servings
- Ingredients
- 2 lbs (.9 kg). frozen spinach
- 8 oz (224 grm). cream cheese
- 4 oz (112 grm). chredded Veleveta cheese
- 5 strips bacon cooked crispy and crumbled up
- 2 hard boiled eggs chopped
- 1 tspn ground mustard
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 cup (225 ml) whipping cream
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
- salt & pepper
- Preparation
- Add garlic to spinach then cook according to package directions.
- In a sauce pan add cream cheese, whipping cream, ground mustard, and butter.
- Using low heat melt all ingredients together while stirring.
- In a medium casserole dish stir together spinach, cream cheese mixture, eggs, salt & pepper, and bacon.
- Place it in a 350 degree (175 C.) oven for 30 minutes.
- After it's done, top it with the Velveta.

- Excellent and easy. I get many compliments on this side dish.
