Drop Dumplings

Chuck's cookbook or ???

  • 1 cup (225 ml) flour
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
  • chicken broth
  • Sift all ingredients together.
  • Slowly stir in about 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk or so.
  • When batter is thin enough to take up by rounded spoonfuls with a wet tbsp; drop into boiling broth.
  • Cook, covered for 15 to 20 minutes.
Look at the corn dumpling recipe. I like them even better.
