Prickly Pear

Serves/Makes:about 2 cups

  • 1 (7 oz) can tuna, drained
  • 8 oz (224 grm) soft cream cheese
  • 2 t dry sherry
  • 1/4 t garlic powder
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 T dry parsley
  • 1/8 t dill weed
  • 1/8 t white pepper
  • Mix well and chill for at least 1-2 hours.
  • Serve garnished with tomatoes, if desired, on crackers.
I have been making this pate' for parties, etc. since 1965 and it has always had rave reviews. I usually double the recipe.
