Serves/Makes:4

Ingredients
  • 16 quarts (15125 ml) pot
  • rack or metal colander to fit inside
  • tight fitting lid
  • weight to hold down lid(brick works well)
  • 4 whole live lobster
  • 1 cube butter, melted
Preparation
  • Place rack in pot.
  • Add water to 2 inches.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Add lobster.
  • Cover.
  • Weight down cover to keep steam in.
  • Set timer for 12 minutes or check for doneness by pulling off one of the little legs.
  • Suck out the meat.
  • If it is done, the lobster is done.
  • Serve with melted butter.
