Ingredients
  • 4 quarts (3775 ml) water
  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) pickling salt
  • 12 eggs
Preparation
  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Add salt and stir to dissolve.
  • Remove from the heat and let cool to lukewarm.
  • Place egg in a jar.
  • Pour the warm saltwater over them.
  • Cover and let stand 1 to 1 1/2 months.
  • Hard boil eggs before using.

Hope this is what your looking for. It is from the Philippines. Thailand makes them also. Basically the same recipe.
