Serves/Makes:9' Double crust

Ingredients
  • 2 cups (475 ml) flour
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). salt
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) lard
  • 7 tbsp (100 ml). water
Preparation
  • Combine flour and salt.
  • Cut in lard.
  • Blend in water.
  • Blend well and divide in two.
  • Roll out on floured board.
  • Bake as directed in pie filling recipe.
Comments
Lard makes the best pie crusts. You should always grease your pie plate with lard also.
