Beef Fondue Sauce


Serves/Makes:1 cup

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple sauce, chilled
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) prepared mustard
  • 1/8 tsp (1 ml). salt
  • In advance whip heavy cream until stiff.
  • Fold in apple sauce, mustard and salt.
  • Serve very cold.
I use this sauce with beef fondue. It is well received.
