Serves/Makes:4 patties

  • 1 lb (.5 kg). ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml). pepper
  • 1 cup (225 ml) crushed corn flakes
  • 1 cup (225 ml) condensed mushroom soup
  • Mix everything together except the soup.
  • Make patties.
  • Roll in flour and fry until brown.
  • Put in casserole dish and pour soup on top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 35 to 40 minutes.
I always double the recipe for four (4) people.
