Ingredients
  • 1 cup (225 ml) whole milk
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice or vinegar
Preparation
  • Place the lemon juice or vinegar into a cup of whole milk--the closer the milk is to room temperature, the better.
  • Stir and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • You now have sour milk to use as a substitute for buttermilk.
