Serves/Makes:2 or more

  • 1 large can saurerkraut
  • 1 circle kielbassa or polish sausage
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Place saurerkraut in pot.
  • Cut kielbassa or polish sausage into desired pieces and add to pot.
  • Bring to boil reduce heat and let simmer until done, approximately 1/2 to 3/4 hr.
Sometimes I cook small whole potatoes along with the saurerkraut and kielbassa or polish sausage Helps cut the acid down in the saurerkraut and is a complete meal. Very good and filling.
