Dr. Wyble's Beer Bread

Recipe Information

  • 3 cups (700 ml) self-rising flour
  • 5 tbsp (70 ml). sugar
  • 1 12 oz (336 grm). bottle beer
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Bake in greased pan at 350 degrees (175 C.) for about 40 minutes.
Dr. Wyble was my physics professor in college and truly a wonderful guy. His recipe is a good substitute for corn bread.
