Fresh salsa used on tacos or tostadas or any Mexican dish.

  • 5 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) to 3 tbsp (45 ml) chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
  • 2 large pickled jalepeno, finely chopped
  • Mix all together.
  • Better when set overnight.
  • This requires no cooking.
This is excellent with any type of Mexican dish. Season to your tasteg. This is served in all authentic Mexican resturants.
