  • 3 cups (700 ml) milk
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) grapenuts
  • pinch salt
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • cinnamon
  • Scald milk.
  • Add grapenuts; let cool.
  • Add salt.
  • Beat 2 egg yolks with sugar; add to grapenuts.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  • Beat egg whites last and fold in gently.
  • Bake 1 hour or so in 350 degree (175 C.) oven.
This recipe was given to me by my mom. My dad loved grapenuts and this was a favorite yummy desert in our home.
