  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vegetable oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1 inch thick
  • 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) prepared salsa, chunky
  • 1 4 oz (112 grm). can diced green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) cheddar cheese
  • Heat oil and brown chops.
  • Add chilies, salsa and cumin.
  • Simmer on low for 8 minutes, covered.
  • Uncover and top with cheese.
  • Cover until cheese melts.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 40 minutes.
  • Serve.
