  • vegetable oil for frying
  • deep fryer at 350 degrees
  • Dry wings:
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) flour
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) paprika
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) cayenne
  • dash pepper
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt.
  • 10 pieces of buffalo cut wings-frozen (defrost and pat dry)
  • Optional Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Louisiana Hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
  • dash garlic powder
  • dash pepper
  • Dry wings:
  • Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Defrost wings and pat dry.
  • In large bowl combine wings ingredients.
  • Coat wings with flour mixture and refrigerate 90 minutes.
  • Place coated wings in oil 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towel.
  • Sauce:
  • Place hot sauce, butter, garlic powder, and dash of pepper in small sauce pan on low heat.
  • Heat until well blended.
  • pour sauce over wings and toss well.
This is a great mildly spicy recipe for wings. La Sante Gourmet Foods.
