Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) prepared mustard
  • 2 tsp (10 ml). Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml). seafood seasoning
  • 1 lb (.5 kg). lump crabmeat, well cleaned
  • Pastry baking shells
  • Buttered bread crumbs
  • Paprika
Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Saute green pepper and onions in butter until soft, but not brown.
  • Add parsley, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and seafood seasoning, blending well.
  • Fold in cleaned crab meat.
  • Pile into baking shells.
  • Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs and paprika.
  • Bake until piping hot.
