Ingredients
  • 1 package white button mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, sliced thinly
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon or lime juice
  • dash of salt and pepper each
Preparation
  • Slice mushrooms and onions and set aside.
  • In a small skillet place butter, onions and mushrooms and saute gently for 1 minute turning often. then add worchestershire sauce and lemon juice. Stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook until mushrooms are done to your desired texture.

We use ours over steak and grilled chicken.
