  • 7 cups (1650 ml) sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup (225 ml) sliced sweet onion
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). celery seed
  • 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml). salt
  • 1 cup (225 ml) white vinegar
  • Combine cucumbers and onion in a large bowl.
  • Add sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed.
  • Mix well.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
