Ingredients 4 cups (950 ml) water 3-3/4 cups (875 ml) sugar 3/4 cup (175 ml) instant coffee 1 fifth of cheap vodka 1 vanilla bean Preparation Bring water to a boil, add sugar and boil for 5 minutes. Stir in instant coffee, 1 spoonful at a time. Bring back to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool for several minutes. Stir in the vodka. Split the vanilla bean and put in a 1/2 gallon (1.9 ltr) jug. Pour in your mixture and let stand for 2 weeks.
