Similiar to lemon chess pie in texture

Serves/Makes:6 servings

  • 1 cup (225 ml) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted unsalted butter
  • 7 tbsp (100 ml) cocoa powder
  • 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • 1 12 oz (336 grm). can evaporated milk
  • whipped cream
  • Combine graham crumbs and melted butter in small mixing bowl.
  • Press into 8 inch pie pan.
  • Combine next 5 ingredients in a food proccessor
  • Add evaporated milk and let proccessor run for at least 30 seconds.
  • Pour into pie pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 25 -30 minutes.
  • Let cool and refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Cut into 6 pieces.
  • Serve with whipped cream.
The pie shoul be LITTLE giggly when you take it out. Do not over bake.
